Does anyone know why it is so hard to find 4800# Tremor front springs for a gas F-250 ? After reading and searching a lot of threads I thought I found the right part number of LC3C-5319-AVB (LAV ) But when I type those numbers in a ford parts store I get nothing ? Any heilp would be wonderful before I lose my mind.
Here’s the complete code listing (from another thread). Tremor (~0.5-1” taller than non-tremor equivalent coils)
LC3C-5310-AWA (LAW) - ???
LC3C-5310-AVA (LAV)/ Door Spring code 66xx- 4,800
LC3C-5310-ATA (LAT)/ Door Spring code 77xx- 5,200
LC3C-5310-ASA (LAS)/ Door Spring code 88xx - 5,600
Non-Tremor
LC3C-5310-APA (LAP)/ Door Spring code PPxx- 4,400
LC3C-5310-ANA (LAN)/ Door Spring Code NNxx - 4,800
LC3C-5310-AMA (LAM)/ Door Spring Code MMxx - 5,200
LC3C-5310-ALA (LAL)/ Door Spring Code LLxx- 5,600
LC3C-5310-AKA (LAK)/ Door Spring Code KKxx - 5,990/6,000
As I understand it, the last letter may change with different year ranges, to either A, B, or C (which I believe is the most current).
The actual ford part number for the 4800lb springs is LC3Z5310S. I just put a set on a 2020 last month, the spring code tag was LC3C-5310-AVC
Thanks for the reply. What springs did you swap out and are you happy with the outcome. I special ordered my truck with camper / plow package because I had a truck camper. Now I no longer have the camper and my f-250 extended cab with the short bed ride is just too harsh.
My goal is to improve the ride of my truck by installing the 4800 tremor springs, removing the rear sway bar and installing some Bilstein 4600's OR is there a better low-cost option out there I should consider?
I had the plow package as well, swapped out the 5990/6000 LC3C-5310-AKA (LAK) springs. I lost 1/8” in front height, which I was fine with, still roughly an inch over normal, and about 1.5” front to rear rake. From what I understand on the 23+ models you may gain a little bit over the plow springs-maybe +1/4” in front height. Spring swap was a noticeable difference in ride, took the edge off the harshness; wish I had done that years ago. Can’t attest to the 4600s, I was already running fox ifp 2.0s on the front and 2.0 with adjustable reservoirs on the rear (30k miles on both so far). Will likely go with either the new Fox HTOs on the front or remotes when I need to replace.
Sorry to re ask the same question but I just want to be sure that I place the order correctly. The above ford part number of LC3C-5310-S is for the 4800# Tremor gas springs that will work on my 2024 THANKS.
