Security light flashing. Computer Not communicating
2010 F250-
Got in truck one day and wouldn't turn on. Security light is flashing. Replaced immobilizer and batteries, didnt work. Got truck dropped off to locksmith to program new keys but they are saying that the computer wont communicate to program keys. Anyone ever have this problem?!?

Very common problem, check the 3 plugs on the drivers side shock tower, unplug them and re-plug them several times to remove any oxide layer on the contacts, there is also a black connector by the PCM that goes to the engine, do the same plug cycling and see if that solves your problem. Also check the transmission computer (TCM) ground connection, it’s beside the TCM, bolted to the top of the frame rail below the drivers seat, very common for that ground to rot off and kill the TCM which can crash the CAN bus network.
