I was just sitting here drinking a bottle of Mountain Dew, and thought, "What would I do if I won the new Viper". In case some of you might not know yet, M.D. has a contest now called Rev It with Dew. Prizes include a new Viper, of Ram truck.
I believe I'd take the Viper out for a weekend up in L.A. and then Monday morning to the local Lincoln dealership and trade it in on a new LS and about fifteen grand. I could do a lot to Bruin with fifteen g's. What would you do. Maybe or:-staun .
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 14-Jul-02 AT 02:14 AM (EST)]i love my truck and think it is the greatest built truck ever. actually i do not like the new model ford at all, all my friends have them and i drive them all the time. they compare nothing to my truck. my truck can take a beating and still run fine. i love the feeling of a 351 under my hood, but when i drive my friends trucks (99 f150 4x4's) they all come with small block v8's. im not saying it is a bad engine, im just saying i dont feel powerful. i feel like im driving a toy. when i am driving my truck i feel like a tank that could take anything out. when i drive the newer models i feel like somebody might just run over me. it doesnt feel as sturdy as the older models. i think the meaning of truck has been lost. to me it seems like luxury and the ride comes before power and overall toughness these days. okay now that i got that out, hell yes i would take a dodge viper and i would not sell it. im not one of those hardcore ford fans that would rather have a model t than 400 brand new chevy z71s. i rarely ever see dodge vipers and i think it would be fun to own one, and a very good asset at that. what bank wouldnt love to reposses a high dollar vehicle like that!
Yeah, I'm always thinking "what could I do if I had....".
A Viper would be cool if I were young and single.
If I were to win something like a Viper in a contest I think I would sell it after a week of test driving it first. Take the money and have my '75' camper special professionaly restored. Buy a vintage Air Stream travel trailer to tow behind it and take off on a cross country road trip. Now that would be cool! I'm I getting old? :P
Driving a viper might soon become a reality to me. My 25 year old boss is in the market for buying one and he'll let me drive it .

I'd love to have my own Viper. They are fun cars to drive. I drove one a couple years ago. I'd probably keep it for a while then sell it and use the money to finish the 3 project trucks I have now.
I really don't care for cars that much. Sure I'll drive it around a bit, right to the local Cadillac dealer and trade it off on a new De Ville Sedan. I've always said if I got a car it'd be a caddy. I never cared for any of them sports cars for that matter.
My mom sure would like to drive a new caddy. So it would be more for her.
>Sell it and get a Corvette. A what, surely you mean a mint '55 Thunderbird. Just kidding. The '67 427 'vette was pretty sweet. I'd still stick with the Linc. LS though. For those long road trips of course.
