Didn’t realize FS posts weren’t allowed. Don’t see a delete option! Q

Should of been put here. The 73-79 for sale/trade/wanted stickied thread at the top of our forum.
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...de-wanted.html

Also could make a thread in the Oregon chapter to get some in state views.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/site-guidelines/
  1. Personal Items For Sale .For Sale items are not allowed in the automotive and general discussion forums of FTE. We have a Classifieds section that you can list your items in. You can also link to it in your signature as long as you follow the signature guidelines. Want ads are allowed in the forums so long as you post a follow-up when you find the part(s). Vehicle value discussions are permitted, however, if we find it turning into a for sale thread, the thread will be removed. The only exception to this guideline is the Chapter Forums. There is a specific thread in each Chapter Forum, for Chapter Members only, that is intended for local for sale items.

My bad. Is there a delete option? I couldn’t find one. In the meantime I deleted the link. Thanks for the heads up.

They are allowed, just not suppose to be in the 73-79 tech forum. The mods with those kind of delete powers should clean it up. I hate to be the net nanny, but if this forum turns into a rolling For Sale forum, where does that do to the tech threads? Pushes them down the list, I appreciate the understanding. Putting it in the For sale/trade and WTB thread is ok. Same for the Oregon state chapter.

All good. I don’t want to be ‘that guy’ so thanks for the save!

What a wonderful response... thank YOU for the save too!

I'll close the thread, but will leave it visible here in the 1973-1979 sub-forum, so that the next person who comes along can not only learn about where and where not to put for sale ads, but also learn how to handle being reminded of the same with the easy going friendliness that you demonstrated. Thanks again!
