Interesting picture, here's a picture of the PCS box I installed on my 6.0 truck, no cosmetic imperfections that I noticed anyway (I intentionally left the image huge size so one can zoom in and look around if they wanted to).

Totally agree about the price. I thought it was expense at $700 USD when I bought it about two years ago. But man you sure seem determined to find something, anything, and change the fault every other post, to say the PCS box is bad for some reason. And you didn't even know they were complete aftermarket boxes (you thought they were like red head and blue top boxes, just re-manned stockers) before this thread.

No one is saying the 6.7 box is bad (I'd bet a lot of money its a solid upgrade over the 6.0 stock box), the PCS box is just the overkill option out there (one could argue overpriced too, but its certainly overkill for street /DD use).

Your opinion appears to be based on literally nothing other than defending the route you personally chose (which, the 6.7 box is a solid option, just not the only option).

And if I were a PSC rep, why on earth would I have said (multiple times) that they're overpriced and if I were doing the job again I'd look harder into the 6.7 stock box.

You do you ,,but any future readers of this thread should be aware that your negative opinion of the PSC box is literally based on your feelings and nothing else (no facts, no experience, not even a basic understanding of what the PSC box is and how its different from re-manned stock boxes) .

I've had my eye on the PSC box for a year now. It was $700 right before Christmas. WTAF!!!!

The frankensteined pitman arm with 6.7 gear option is looking much better these days. Although those may have gone up 30% too. Unbelievable.

I don't know about that, I bought mine last July for $1000. Maybe a Christmas sale.

They were $700 at XDP. $900 if you wanted it ported. All year long.

Funny how the ported option is now $995 and un-ported is $950. Must have been selling way more un-ported units due to its already high pricing.

The sewing together (fabricating) of a whole unit from pieces of multiple other units. They don't use that expression in Canada or what?

It's an 03 but they both use the same gear/pitman arm combo.

I did a bit of reading and some people say that a 2008+ steering gear will hit the frame on a 99-04 before it locks out so not sure if that's an issue or not, also not sure the placement of everything with the front leafs being there so maybe that PSC box is the way to go
