Steering Wheel Fitment

Does anyone know if a string wheel off a 1972 F250 will fit on a 1972 F250? or for that matter will the entire steering assembly, with the power steering pump and everything from a 79 fit a 72?

There is a little more to it than just bolting on a steering gear and pump.
Here is a link to tech articles that will tell you all you need to know about PS swaps. I believe you have a 390, there were no FE's in 79 so you will have to find the brackets and pulleys for an FE to install a PS pump. Technical Articles Index - FORDification.com
