Just more BS.......
Just returned from putting over 3k on it visiting the kids in Southern California in her 2016 Honda HRV, and as always, it ran great, but it was time for a new pony.
I did a lot of research, and read a lot of complaining folks post, and it seemed that most were pretty similar in nature.
While in California we drove some to see what really this little rig was all about....
We liked it, liked the looks, and liked the discounts that FORD was offering at years end.
We returned home and using CarGuru narrowed our search and made a list of dealerships to visit.
We wanted the moonroof and the connivence package in the BB as we stay on pavement, but that was a very hard model to find.
So many Black Diamonds out there, seems FORD misread that package, saw them as cheap as 24k NEW.
Anyway, thus far we are digging it, what a hoot taking your hands off the steering and drifting over to the line as it steers itself back and tells you to put your hands back on the steering wheel.
Saw folks complaining that the moonroof doesn't open all the way....SO WHAT, it is way bigger than the one we had in the HRV and gives you lots of outside to drive under.
The ECO mode is sluggish, but the Normal is perfect for us, the Sport a little too responsive but again its new to us.....
Other than that, what can I say, with about 8k off the MSRP we feel pretty good about this lil' pony.

All my research said it was the first generation and a failure of curing the glass/bonding properly.
It also said the numbers were too small to issue a recall, even tho that left you out.
I think the days of turning a wrench are becoming less and less, to fix your ride.
I guess its all how you look at it, glass half empty or half full.
As old farts we love all the safety that have become standard in the last 10 years, hopefully it provides us a safer journey.
We did like the 2026 Honda Passport, HOWEVER, it was almost double the cost of what we paid for the Bronco.
