The most I have seen down here is about a foot.. I have seen my share when I lived in Ohio..

We have had years where it has melted away in January and February but not often enough , just as well now ,melts away to early the fires start early..

We have enough, out west seems to get hit a lot worse as they tend to be drier out there, I think there was over 800 fires burning across the country last year. A lot of the areas nobody lives so they don't concentrate much on them, only the ones close to towns..

I keep hearing about fires in California, then mud slides from heavy storms.. I am glad I didn't stay out there after I got out of the service..
