Both low beams work fine. One fuse controls both sides on high. The left side works , but nothing on the right. The connector looks to be fine. I have swaped bulbs as well. I dont see any obvoius broken wires at the connector or a separate ground. The bright light indicater on the dash illiminunates when the colum switch is used so I am assuming that switch is working. Any ideas on what pin or wire in the connector is for high beam? Thank you for any help available
I have found that there is not 12v to the pin or wire on the plug. That loom runs from the left under the radiator bracket to the passenger side. there are 2 blue wires in that loom, one of which feeds the high beam. I am not sure where the power to those wires feeds from.
I believe the high beams run off one relay...so if there's an issue only on one side, theres an issue in the wiring or the plug itself.
Not ideal but I would get some wire and taps and run a temporary set of wires from the working light to the non working light. this is how it's wired from the factory anyway.

Yes sir.I was able to check a couple things after posting this yesterdayand found I do not have 12v at the high beam wire on the passenger side Blue wire. This morning I had the same thought you do. This weekend I will splice into the driver side and run a new wire to the other side.
You must know something I don't. The only truck I see in the OPs profile is a 2018 F150.
LOL, It doesn't matter so much what the yr is for this particular issue. Headlights have been wired the same since the beginning of time. I just took a chance on throwing an idea out to temporarily get him both sides to work.

Thank you for your response
Just keep in mind, this should only be a temporary solution. You may need to find a new headlight plug pig tail or get one from a used truck. I guess it depends on where the fault is exactly but I'm going to guess it's at/ near the non working headlight....unless a critter was feasting on the wiring

From the beginning of time until the introduction of the body control module, maybe. And without knowing the year and model, you don't know if it has one or not.
okay, maybe slightly extreme wording, but from my experience...the wiring is simple enough for headlights.
For example, I wired my 73-79 trucks to run low beams when high beams were activated. The wiring is very similar on my 03 F350 even though the wiring is not quite as simple and straight forward. the upgraded wiring harness for the super duties is very similar to what I made nearly 30 yrs ago

There was no power to the high side of the pig tail. I went as far as the wire went to the loom under the radiator top support and then over to the wires that run in the loom from the divers side loom under the support top , so no high side voltage from the left side to the right. It feeds in one loom from drivers side to left front and then slpits to the passenger side. I need to split it all apart or run a jumper across from the good left side wire it seems. I was hoping it would be something as simple as the pig tail ... it is only 3 wires and $10
