It's not a short box....
So I gotta ask....if it's not a long box and it's not a short box... what is it?? Looks to me from the pic it's a 98" box....that's the same as mine.
Not a short bed and not a normal long bed.. it is a Super Camper Special 140" wheel base. Pretty sure I see the badge on the fender under the F350. And I bet the passenger side bed side is a giant spare tire access door.
So after some thoughts on what the OP was trying to convey about short box/long box I come to realize that his thought was that it was different. And I agree. They are different...not rare....but different and in my opinion...unique. I've been called out before about saying SCS's were rare so I'm careful about making that statement. Hey OP....sorry if I came across like an A -hole or argumentive. I was just trying to see it from your perspective. Peace and happy new year.

It is a SCS, 140" wb and one of my favorite Ford trucks, my only wish was that Ford would've made them 4wd, they just have a cool look to them, I've had 4 or 5 of them over the years and wish I would've kept at least one of them. Yes, they are 8' beds, but sometimes the angle of the pic makes them look like a short bed, that one looks to be a 73-75 and has the Ranger XLT package, it looks like it has the brackets for the nice west coast mirrors.
Looks a tad rough, but still has lot's of potential, nothing but $$ and elbow grease can't fix
