looking for a one piece, solid black lug nut, but I'm confused about what type of seat it is. Is it a conical seat a flat seat I have a 2023 lariat with a 20 inch wheels. I just needed some clarification before I actually buy them because I'm not sure what type of seat it is.

 

On my 23 Platinum, they're flat. Best way to know for sure is take one off and look at it.

 

All SD pickups with 20” aluminum wheels have the flat faced lug nuts, conical nuts would damage the wheels.
When you took one of yours off to verify what did it look like?

 

They are two-piece flat-seated. The flat seat is a free-spinning washer with a textured face that mates to the wheel. If you go with a conical lug, you'll need a washer with a conical seat on the outside and a flat mating surface on the inside. I had this combo on my 2017 and it worked fine, with spline lugs, black. I liked the look and the fit but the washers were expensive, like $80 for the set if I remember correctly.
