I was just reading more about the Spring hanger lifts etc. Now I may be in a pickle. Since my '03 is going in the shop next week, I need to know more about this "adjustable track bar" issue. Do I need one? (2 inch level kit) and if I do, where do I get one and how much. Since my truck is scheduled for the work next Tuesday, any info that you can get to me will be very greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kevin
no you do not NEED one... nor should you feed compelled to buy one as someone might have you think.... your truck will look just as cool as the next guys without it.
Ok thanks for the heads up on that but even though it will look good, will not having one have any effect on performance (drivability, steering, or any other front end issues) that might be affected without one?
i am not saying they are bad.... but if you don't have one, your wheels will still turn, your lugnuts will still stay tight, and your lady friend will still love you because you have a nice truck (ok ok.... that is what they love me for.... come on, someone else must use their truck to get laid???)
It's true. You do not need one. I have a 2" lift and nothing else. Got over 40K on it afterwards and tire wear, driveability, handling is fine without it.
yeti.... not sure what you mean... but if your are trying to tell me something (that pic with the tongue), i am NOT interested that you like big trucks....
i said lady!!!! (and no, it is NOT ok if you dress up as one)
yeti waiting at the singles bar for guys with big lifted trucks.... he told me that he only went for guys with the 'cool guy' suspension since he found them to be a bit more beefy (even though he said size really doesn't matter)
if yeti is hanging in the bars near your house, i'd watch out tankhead.... he might be looking for you to give him a ride with your beefy suspension (btw, truck looks great )
Ok, thanks for all the reply's , I will send the truck off to the shop without the adjustable trac bar. I would bet that the lady in red would enjoy an adjustable trac bar now and again. But again, thanks for the info, the anxiety attack has ended. Kevin
