I am looking for information on what others did to their 2023 Ford F150 XLT for off-road lighting. I would like to add a light bar and ditch lights. I want a double bolt attachment for the ditch lights, pricy but not out of the real of possibilities, the big question here is where to put the switches? For the light bar I have limited space inside my garage, I can’t leave the trailer hitch on if I want to close the garage door. I really want a bar light in front of the grill that just barely clears the grill when installed.
If anyone has done either a couple of pictures and maybe an explanation would be greatly appreciated.
Depending on which grille your truck has, you may be able to cut and notch out the lower part of the grille to have room for the light bar. There are a few threads with photos for this on the Superduty forum.
Just curious. Has anyone tried to install a smallish light bar in the small cavity below the grill and in the middle of the bumper? If someone was to install a winch it would be right in front of that.

Sorry for the same answer... there are some trucks over in the newer superduty section with lights in that same spot you mention.
For "Ditch Lights", I installed an inexpensive set of Auxbeam 4" X 2" LED Flood Beam Pods (Pt# ZD000658-CA) from Amazon on a set of Nilight Front Hood A pillar pod light brackets (Pt# 91084B), also from Amazon. Easy installation - ran the switch wiring through the firewall under the dash and mounted the tiny 3/4"X1/2"X1/2" switch, on the left side of my steering column, right in front of my light bar switch (where the previous owner had mounted it)! One is push button and one is rocker - easy to remember which is which! I'm going outside now to put some stuff away in the garage - I'll take some close-up shots and post them, when I come back in! This is the left-hand light, showing the Nilight bracket, going down under the cowl... ...same light from behind the mirror! Driver's side light - I aim themjust a touch forward and a touch down. They have great range and light up both sides of the area you're in, perfectly! I love them, even when out in my poorly lit neighborhood! ...same light from behind that mirror and up higher, for a different perspective. There's the push on/push off, momentary switch. The red sw. was already there when I bought the truck and is for the light bar, which is ARE and is mounted to the front of the ARE Topper! Talk about bright... lights my street up for almost a quarter-mile like it's day time! the green-dotted lines indicate where I ran the supplied wiring harness. It comes with a fused hot lead, as well, so I was able to just wire directly to the battery, rather than messing with the fuse box. After this mod, I bought some "fuse taps" and started doing things right...

That's a nice clean install. I used that bracket for a CB antenna and it's solid and won't move.
Yeah, I was shocked how solid they were for the price... you really can't go wrong - they'd hold a much larger light than the ones I'm running, easily, for sure!
