Question turn signal problem

Hello
I have this problem where my turn signals are dead and also hazards also...I am having a heck of a time finding the flasher. Its not in the fuse box where else can it be. Also it might help if i know what it might look like. Thanks for any help

turn signals

I have a problem with signals too. check E100 listed below. It might be your signal unit in the steering column or general wiring in the dash somewhere. I know how you feel, it's frustrating. I got a ticket because my van isn't inspected because of this stupid turnsignal business. Good luck

On my 78 E350 RV I had a signal/flasher problem. It was in both signal housings up front and was the actual ground wire. I attached a new wire to each unit and grounded properly and they now work fine.

The flasher is under the dash near my fuse box. I am sure it was in a holder but now is just stuffed up in the dash.

signal sapped

Thanks Flare150

So would the signal units be in the dash display(behind). Mine is a E100 '78.

Thanks, Stryder.

turn signals

Hi Sidala

I just wondered if you've made any progress on your signal problem. Did you try the suggestion mentioning proper grounding wires? I have not attempted to open the dash to attack this hydra yet.

Thanks, Stryder.

turn signal

yes i made progress...as embarassing as it is i figured out when i cleaned the van after our trip i must have hit the hazard button to the on position thus no turn signals. I pushed the button and they work....obviously my hazards are not working so i have to look into that and figure out where the flasher is
Thanks Mike
