Is it just me, or does it look like there are no AVS Aeroskin Hood Protectors available for the 2023 and up Super Duty trucks?
Not just you..I just picked up a 2023 f250 and have found zero on the Aeroskin.. everything is on back order. Was leaning towards the Aeroskin 2.. like the matte look... Good luck on your search!
That looks really good.....happen to have a part number for that?
Just call your local Ford dealer, mine had it in stock the next day. Pretty much the same price as the aftermarket ones at the local accessory place. It's got a small Ford logo on it but I'm sure it's made by one of the other manufacturers.

I'm not a fan of PPF. Been in the body shop business for 40 years, once it gets too old (I don't know exactly what that is, varies) it is impossible to get off to repaint or replace. Better figure on repainting the hood anyway. Short term is ok but I would just get a different kind.
Many installers recommend the film to be replaced every 10 years. Had a friend that had it on his car for 14 years and we used my steamer on it, and it came right off. I had it on a few vehicles and while it worked for the "peppering" you get from small debris, if the pebble is large enough to crack your windshield, it's going to damage the film and most likely mark/dent the hood. I had something hit the headlight on my Z06 and it messed up the film and marked the plastic light, but I didn't even hear the impact, just noticed it while I was wiping the car down after the drive. I went back to the old school hard plastic for the truck, and it has been fine.
Thanks for the inputs from everyone. I was going with the Huskey Aeroskin 2. However they were out of stock and I still did not like that you 3m taped it to the hood. I had already ordered the Aeroskin 2 when I saw a post of the Bugflector 2 with a photo in another thread. I liked that, canceled the Aeroskin and got a Bugflector. It's on now and looks like it is well made and will last a reasonable amount of time.
