I’m sure plenty of you have good things to say about the three front hitch receivers listed below but do any of have anything negative to say about any of them? I’m also open the other brands you like. I plan to carry a generator, camping firewood, and general gear.
Torklift has a 1,000 pound tongue weight rating. Some of the others only have 500 pound rating.
I have the Torklift front hitch in my 2022 f250 and I love it. I carry my generator and cooler or I'll carry the generator and the cook grill
i really like the fact that the receiver is in the bumper and not below the bumper. I was concerned about blocking Air flow but hauling the truck camper and towing the 20' enclosed trailer in the heat of the summer thru the Kentucky/Tennessee mountains it's been perfect
Another vote for the Tork-Lift North Hitch. I put it on a few years ago and it's been great. Pretty easy install, I like that it sits higher up in the bumper rather than lower, under the bumper and I like that it came with a license plate holder to hide it when not in use. I can't comment on the others.

I installed a "fold-a-way step" on my license plate supplied bracket

That's actually pretty interesting! I haven't seen those! And I don't know why... I need to grab a hitch step that I can just throw into the receiver when doing oil changes and what not. That would be awfully beneficial!

it's fantastic. Just to be able to look around during an oil change. Also I can't reach the hood near the cowl when washing so I use the step. I found mine brand new at a garage sale for $3.00!
Do any of these work with the adaptive cruise? I'm frustrated that the Torklift for DRWs doesn't sit nearly as high as the SRWs, but the only reason I haven't pulled the trigger is that I don't know if I'll lose the cruise when I have a bike mounted. Thanks guys. O

I have had to turn off the adaptive cruise when the unit was covered in mud or ice. Then it's just like regular ol' cruise control. I would expect you'd have to do something similar when the hitch was in use. Maybe space the unit out a little bit as needed for the framework behind it?
I have the Curt. I use it mostly for bike rack. The bikes already sit higher than the hood, do not sure I would want it higher. I know on my GMC 1/2 ton for the tork lift to work you had to dissassemble the entire front end. If you dont need to do that with the super duty, I would be looking at the tork-lift a bit harder if I were to do it again.
