I purchased my Mobil Delvac 1 5w-40 from AV Lubricants. Prompt shipping of 4 gallons at just over $100 including shipping. I changed the oil at 3500 miles (replacing factory fill). Smoother idle, fast starts, peace of mind in cold temperatures. No idle problems at all on an early '03 production 6.0L PSD.

Also, sounds as though Gould lubricants in North Dakota (http://www.gouldings-oil.com/product_pricing.htm) may be about $10 cheaper for 4 gallons.

Cool Mobil Delvac 1

Tim: I just purchased Delvac 1 (5w-40) in gallon's by the case ( 4 gal's per case )
and the price was $ 19.08 per gal plus tax... This by the way was in Omaha, Ne and its being used in my ' 97 F-250 Powerstroke with over 174,000 miles on it..
What a difference it's makes in starting my truck in the Omaha winter's.... I've also purchased a ' 03 6 liter powerstroke that I had intended in using it as well.. If you cannot find a jobber that will sell the oil you want, you can always try finding a oil broker, ( sells diesel fuel, etc. ) to go through... If I can help more, get back to me... blk-fordtruk

Tim,
I called the local Mobil distributor for my area listed on their web site today and got a price, delivered to my business, for the Delvac 1 5W40. $82.07 for the case of 4 gallons, and $100.12 for the 5 gallon pail. So unless you are paying a big shipping charge on the online price you found, it isn't too bad.

Life is at time amazing. The folks at Amigo..I have talked to twice.
Called them again just talked with Jonas. FINALLY someone to buy from
...........cost 89.00 a case.

Maybe it took a person form South Alabama, named Stevej to align the planets through our solar system……….for me to locate oil in my own town.

Third time is obviously a charm in this case, (case,,,no pun intended) stevej don’t know ya but owe you a beer.
My first two phone calls had no impact…..thanks

Who would of ever thunked
