Wow ! A big, big thanks to MyFord trucks, Doug099, 90project5.0, Soup bean and adrianpglover ! Wonderful advise and perfect pictures. Yes, the shop had left the trans in reverse and put the top cover on without engaging the shift fork. I was able to get it back together earlier today. Sorry, I had not thought to take pictures and just now seeing the request.
I am usually on the 48-56 Forum or the 73-70 portion. I think I need to spend more time with you guys! Many Thanks !

Thanks. Two areas that I usually defer to shops - transmissions and differentials. With the help that is readily available on FTE I could probably take on those areas. I might have a glass shop put the windshield in the 51, but will do the rest.
