1956 Dash patch needed

Greetings,
I am hopeful someone here might have a sacrificial ‘56 dash that could be cut to provide a patch panel. A previous owner used the jaws of life to cut an opening for a radio and also added an ash tray where the original radio would have resided. Photo shows center section of the dash that I am looking for generally outlined by tape. Essentially hoping to get center between the gauge cluster and the glove box. If you have something you are willing to sacrifice, please let me know and we can figure out means to make a transaction. Thanks!

^^For the price $489, and the fact he's gonna cut it to bits, or the trouble "just replace the whole thing", It'd consider that a last resort, gotta be someone who can help.

OP, if you're in a rush and this truck isn't supposed to win pebble beach, you could just patch with scrap.

I appreciate the input so far. Yes I realize I could just patch it, unfortunately the hack job that was done on this is along most of the contoured bends of the dash making the cleanup of new welds a real challenge. If a patch could be found it would be a much nicer repair so I thought I would give it a go and see if someone has something that might work. If not, I will be fabbing something up.

I have a complete dash with ashtray and glove box door, original red paint, carefully cut out of cab. Don't have a photo handy but there may be pics on other posts.
