1982 F250 6.6 motor standard transmission. Acc pump was leaking so got a rebuild kit. Didn't fit. Had new Jasper motor put in about 8 years ago and guessing carb not the original one. Looked at the carb trying to get a number. The only thing I can find is 121 on the side of the carb. Any help in Carb ID?
Since you have the 4 hole accelerator pump adjustment I'd say it's probably a Motorcraft Auto lite 2150. Be sure to reinstall the rod back in the same hole as before when you get the correct accelerator pump. I do see Motorcraft stamped on it. Hopefully someone can verify my guess....
Your carb looks very similar to the 2150 on my ‘84 351W. On mine, the ID was on a metal tag secured by one of the screws above the float chamber. Mine had slotted fillister head screws. Your carb has button head Phillips screws. Most likely your carb is a reman and the original tag is long gone.
When my accel pump leaked a couple of years ago, I found the correct replacement in #1510B kit from Standard Motor Products.
It is a motor craft carb. Ok. I'll check the float chamber for the ID.

Can't tell from your pictures, but most likely your carb has a single stage power valve. To check, look at the power valve cover under the float chamber. You may need to use a small mirror if the carb is still installed. The cover sits between the two idle mixture screws.
Here's a bottom view. Note how the power valve cover is fairly shallow, and roughly even with the screw heads:
Here's the taller cover for a 2-stage power valve:

If your carb has the single stage power valve, did you look at the SMP 1510B I suggested previously? It has two types of accel pumps, as I'm not sure which style you have. This kit is not shown at the manufacturer's website, but is available from many vendors. Here is an Amazon link:
See that orange sticker on top, aft side? That's definitely a remanufactured carb. The core may have come from a different model. Because of that, you may not get the correct parts if ordering by vehicle make/year/model.
You've got a vacuum hose disconnected on that black chamber on the passenger side of the carb. Near the bottom center of the picture. Not sure of that chamber's function, but unless disconnected and plugged for a specific reason, It's best to have everything connected.
Most all those 2150 carbs are the same. And the kits have a bunch of pieces to fit all different types of carbs. The single stage power valve will fit where the 2 stage would go. What would not fit? The accelerator pump would not fit? What model number kit did you buy?
You may find it easier to put a China knock-off on it from Amazon or ebay.
Carb kits I get from the local parts stores because if it is not right you can walk it right back and talk to someone, even if they dont know what they are doing

I have never bought a carb kit anywhere, even in the old days, where it you broke the seal on the kit, that they would take it back. But half the parts in the kit you will not use, because the kit is made for so many different models of the same carb.
True but most of the time you can "shake" the box to see the parts and if they will fit or not.
He said the pump was wrong and he should have been able to see it with out popping the seal.

With the 4 holes for adjusting the accelerator pump there are likely more than one type of accelerator pump. There could be four. This carburetor was used on many different vehicles. I'd look closely at your rebuild tag, maybe contact the rebuilder to check their product ID or numbers if any on the tag.
It is a rebuilt carb and no tag and no clue on who the rebuilder would be.
I dont know if there would be more than 1 pump because of the hole for the rod?
I know Holley only has 2 pumps, a 30 CC and a 50 CC to fit all their carbs.
Pretty easy to tell just looking at the pump caps what one it is.
And they have more than 1 pump cam, same as the holes for adjustment.
That is what I like about Holley and their 2300 in a 350 or 500 CFM bolts in place of the Motorcraft carb and takes all the same parts as their v4 carbs.

Learned something new. Looks like the 4 mounting holes are always the same, but that center post changes a lot. I have never seen one with a spring on it either.
P.S. There would be no way to guess from the pictures in the first part of this thread what style he needs. Since it looks to me like the main body and the 4 hole pattern would be the same for all types, and the cover would be the piece that is different.
