So I got to taking it part and I get how this is supposed to work but I am missing something. I can not get the bushing to move at all. I have up to an 1.5 wrench which doesn't fit and I dont see how to get a socket in there that will fit over the ball joint stud and get the ratchet in as well. Is there a special tool like the SPS wrench for their socket?
Like was mentioned in a previous post, the balljoint has to be dropped out of the bushing to move it or replace it. The balljoint is tapered along with the bushing, and it's wedged in there very tight. There is no getting it out without busting things loose first.
Sweet hell that was pain I finally got the driver side bushing out.
No idea what degree it is though. The only markings are

Now you know why the alignment guys hate to see these trucks come in. Most of them will just adjust the toe and not do the rest. When you put it back together, slather a bunch of never seize on it so it comes apart easier. I am pretty sure you will be finding another alignment shop once you get the new bushings in place. I will be really surprised if you are able to get it to drive straight without pulling to one side by doing a home alignment.
