High RPMs
I have an 89 F250 5.8 351. Today I changed the EGR valve and the coolant temp sensor because of codes I got off of a check engine light. Then once I turned on the truck it went into high rpms around 2000 at idle. While driving, I press on the clutch the RPMs shoot up to 3 or 4000 then drop. At idle it now sits around 1500-2000. I changed the IAC valve but it didn't change anything.

Recheck for codes, again, codes dont always mean throw the parts cannon at issue, as bad as new parts quality is now-a-days, test first.
