Costco batteries?

Anyone here buy the Kirkland batteries from Costco and just get them replaced before the 48 month free replacement warranty is up? Seems like a no brainer for us diesel guys no!

"Warranty: 48 month free replacement period, 100 months prorated"

EDIT: Return based on SOH being 80% or lower.

I've used Costco batteries several times (but they said "Interstate" on the side, not "Kirkland"). They all worked fine and lasted a normal service life, never needed to warranty one of them.

Really the only batteries I've had issues with are Napa Legend conventional lead -acid batteries (but those were Covid era Napa legend batteries, so maybe I just got four bad ones, but I'm not buying any more Napa legend batteries to figure that out).

If you're looking for cheap, I've had good luck on a few things with Deka AGM batteries from RockAuto. Warranty would be hard (because mail order) but I've put those Deka AGMs in a few daily drivers and some stuff which sits for long periods of time (like my tractor) and they've been pretty good so far.
...

The only batteries I buy at Costco are GC2 6 volt batteries for my motorhome. For my I vehicles normally buy them from Walmart they hold up well and Walmart is everywhere if there is a problem with them. A few years ago I bought two AGM batteries for my F450 still going strong. Truck is not a daily driver so I keep them on a NACO charger when not driving it. Walmart batteries use to be made by Johnson Controls, may still be.

I continue to use the Interstate AGM batteries from Costco with very good luck. I live in a warm climate so that likely helps too. None last forever in our trucks though. Just another item on the regular investment list to keep them running.

I have used COSTCO Lead acid Interstate batteries in my 6.0L with no problems.
