I was under the truck today to plan out the installation of some new reverse lighting when I noticed the following piece of insulation just laying on top of the exhaust under the bed. There are several other similar pieces of insulation above the exhaust along the underside of the bed and they, too, look like they're ready to detach at any time. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
No. There was too much dirt road dust and fine pebbles sticking to the remaining adhesive iwhere the heat shield came from. I did not want to attempt removing all that so it could be glued back in place. I removed that piece of heat shield without any noticeable effect on anything. The heat shield pieces that came off of my truck only protected the truck bed.
There is a recall for this. I've received 3 letters from Ford concerning the heatshield. The fix is to drill holes in the bed and install push pin type connectors to keep it in place. My '17 F-250 now 8 years old and the heatshield in question is still stuck strong with no evidence of it coming off. I've been ignoring the recall because I don't want holes drilled in my bed for something that's not broken.

I've not received this recall for my '25. I figured Ford would have already addressed this issue before selling me the truck.
