I tried this paint called: Charcoal - it was not even close to matching the cap, it is actually Industrial Gray, I would call it Medium Industrial Gray.

I am hoping the actual spray color of this Dark Charcoal, is close to the color of this ford factory steel bumper's original color

Could you not get it from your local Ford dealer. Or some auto supply shops like NAPA have paint matching equipment.
