Oil pump rotation
When spinning an oil pump, with a drill, are you supposed to spin it clockwise or counter clockwise? I had it in my head that it was CC, but I get nothing but a gurgling sound, when I do. With clockwise rotation, I get oil to the rockers. This is a new build that has been on the stand for 5 years. The box that the pump came in ( I have a picture), has Melling M-74, on it.

The Ford 300 6-cylinder engine's distributor rotor rotates
clockwise when viewed from the top.
