Hey guys, FNG here with another FNG headlight question -
I have a 2019 F250 and want to do the 2020-2022 facelift. I am not a fan of my 2019 grill, and think the 2020-2022 high flow grill from the dually is awesome. Since I am going to have to change headlights anyway, I also want to upgrade from halogen to LED. I have read exhaustively on here and other forums that OEM is the way to go, but I cant afford that with the $$ that the face lift is going to run. I was considering Morimoto until I read the horror stories that folks are having with them (and I want chrome, not the blacked out look that seems to be so prevalent). My options are running out and I would really prefer to not install OEM halogens if I can come up with a better option (even it if is not as good as OEM LED).
Has anyone ever hear of or used AutoLETDTech? They offer a kit that looks as close to OEM as I have seen, and they offer a halogen to LED harness with it. Link here
Following. Also in the same boat with wanting LEDs but don't want to go with OEMs and Morimotos seem very hit and miss and at that cost no thanks! I do have LED bulbs that do work well and have never had anyone flash me in almost 2 years. Properly aimed i have less glare than my wife's Honda Pilot that has LED projectors from factory. But still would love a good set of LEDs but besides OEM am not seeing anything really solid reputation.
As for the F450 grille I also upgraded my 2020 to that style grille. Looks much nicer IMO, just a clean look.
