Fuel pump ground location?

That ground location is common to the headlight circuit also. I don't know if that will matter to your aftermarket gauges.

It may not matter at all..it seems like that portion of the instructions is more generalized, since they say it’s recommended for accuracy, and talks about a grounding wire off of the pump sender plate…those of us that know, know there’s no fuel sender attachment bolts 🤷🏻♂️
May end up rolling the dice, and snagging one of the grounds going to the cluster. Guess if there’s issues, I can always do it their way.
