If anything like previous years, it will be here...
I have to admit, I like that mine hangs down and allows me to pull it out of the bumper just a little bit to plug mine in... but it seems there is enough slack there to allow yours to do the same.
This morning it was 14 degrees ambient. I started the truck up after I cleaned it off as we were getting more lake effect snow, waited about 20 seconds or so, backed out and made two quick pushes (with plow) to clear out the end of the driveway, then drove off nice and easy. At the end of the street about 150 yards from my house at the stop sign, the primary cooling was already 90 degrees and the oil temp was 60. Love having the block heater.
I bought a NOCO plug and installed it in the front of mine. Makes finding it, and using it super easy! I also added another one to the opposite side that is attached to a NOCO Genius10 that is hard wired to the battery to make keeping a charge in it easy too.

Yes Sir... I remember your posts on that. And I remember wanting to do it. Then I saw this kit from Mishimoto to move the license plate to the passenger side in front of the right-side tow hook... which IMO, would not matter because there is the driver's side hook left. I've always thought that the plastic plate mount on my truck was a piece of crap.
I like this idea of improving air flow through the center there for the radiators. I would also more than likely do a mod like yours with the NOCO kit but I do not have those plastic panels like the Alumina Duty trucks do.
But I do like the factory piece from the factory, the curved plastic piece there in the bumper, directing air up to the rads. Another idea for a mod...
That's pretty sharp. Does NY require a front plate? I still have MS plates, and we do not require a front plate... however, I have had a plate installed in the North Hitch since installing it. No doubt that it doers block some airflow, but I don't think it affects it too bad, at least based on watching my temps when towing.
