I am swapping in power leather seats from a 2013 f-150 with heat and cool into my 1979 f150 super cab 4x4 and anyone who has any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Here is how a fellow FTE member put some 2016 Ford Fusion seats in their truck. Using the OEM floor pan originial seat hdwr holes.
As far as the cooling part on the 2013 seats, I believe the newer trucks a/c ducting goes under the floor board/under the seat (?) and then is ducted into the seat from the bottom. I bet that is going to be a challange, it will be interesting to see how you work it out. Good luck.

I doubt it's going to be plug and play, but doable. I swapped my tattered bench out for a 2nd row seat from a 2025 Durango. I reused the original sliders so I could mount it to the floor studs, but had to fabricate some cross members out of rectangular steel tubing.
