Transmission Issues!

Recently I removed and tore down my 4r100 to replace my forward drum due to stripped splines. After reinstallation it will not shift out of first gear unless I manually shift it into second and if it is in second and I put it back in drive it puts itself back into first. Also when it does grab second it slips while it shifts and once it goes in gear. I’m stumped and don’t really know what to look for.

Look for codes in the PCM. It may direct you to where the problem is.
