Well, that's good news, but my biggest issue with the drum brakes is lockup. Any hard braking and the brakes lock up, even with lightning up on the pedal, and I lose control in the skid. I'm hoping that disks will provide better control when braking hard.
What vehicle do you have and have the brakes been modified in any ways? Do all brakes lock-up or just front or rear?
Any vehicle that locks brakes will lose steering and/or stability control.
Well KULTULZ was right I researched the subject of disc/drum cylinders and all the ones I found said do not use disc/drum cyl on a vehicle that is all drum brakes.
so I started hunting for dual reservoir cyl that I could use.
Found one at Autozone 1970 F350 brake cyl. If you look for F100, F250 they only give the disc/drum cyl. Also take your adapter with you to size up. They the young staff kept showing me Chrysler brake cylinders which doesn't line up with the adapter mounting holes. Bought the wrong one first because I didn't bring the adapter with me.
Even though the F350 mounting holes line up, they the ears, extend pass the adapter edge. Planning on cutting a little off. Will not cause any problems.
The blue adapter fit an F1, had to make an adapter for F2, F3 Ford trucks.
Be aware that there is a ~33% braking displacement volume difference between the original F1 master cylinder and the F2+ master cylinders and so you may want to take that into account when re-engineering the brake systems.
KULTULZ on the 10 lbs pressure relief valve would I need 3 valves ?
one for front driver side, one for front passenger side and one for the rear.
Starting to install.
Interested to see what you get for answers, I installed my residual valves, front and rear at the outputs of the master cylinder then plumbed everything else in. Haven’t used mine yet.

you just need 2 residual pressure check valves, they can go between the MC and the combination valve
Had to order the residual valves. Mocked up where it is needed to go.
where the Union is is where the Residual valves will go. Then need to fasten them to the inside frame rail. Tomorrow will install MC to verify my calculations were correct. But I know it could still bite me.
Adapter is upside down to keep MC from moving.
Mounted F2 Adapter and MC. Had to change the hex head bolts on the MC to 3/8-24 socket head.
Hex head bolts interfered a little, couldn't use a socket to tighten them.
Was able to install MC may just bench test it under the truck.
Checked fittings, will need Relief valves to finalize it.
The proportional valve will reach back between gas tank and frame.
Brake switch interferes with fuel tank.
After all Checked for position will need to add clamps to secure everything.
Just wanted to keep from having an air bubble trapped at the Brake fitting. May swap where the rear line go with the brake fitting. Then do a tight bend on the rear line.
