Lost some tires need suggestions
Went through some minor mud and caught a little air off a hill then decided to turn back I said the magic words "wow everything is going great I can't believe these old bald tires
are doing so well"
I turned around and saw a nice little rut/puddle I wanted to hit before we went back. I made the stupid mistake of coming in at angle and that was all she wrote made it through the rut but with only two tires left hahahahahaha. When I hit it I was coming in from the side. The tires followed the rut and the rims didn't so the old dry rotted tires came right off. Luckily no damage to anything but the tires.
Bad part is I have to buy 4 new tires. at $220.00 each that's gonna suck but it's been long over due
Thank goodness I bought some old rims and tires about 5 years ago and held on to them. Called Dad and he showed up with my tires, jack and some boards.
Pics are here. pictures
Anyway does anyone know where I can get some new ground Hawgs? For a good price? Maybe online or something
Thanks also I'm assuming this won't happen with new tires because those have been on and off the rims about three times and are old and dry rotted. So I figure that's why they came off so easily.
New tires can still come off the bead if they're too wide (or too narrow) for the rim, not inflated properly, or just plain beat too hard, but they should hold on better than the old ones.
I figure it's just becuase they've been on and off the rims and I know that beats up the edge of the rubber a little bit.
I think they were at like 35-38lbs about normal not flat not to tall. And I didn't really think I hit the rut that hard they just seemed to peel right off.
It was a weird feeling.
I'm probably going 35 or 36 in. ground hawgs

I have always ordered mine from http://209.240.4.82/acb/showdetl.cfm...=1101&CATID=10 and they have some very commendable service! Highly recommend them!
