I put a kill switch on both batterirs and they work fine. Cant start the truck and nothing thing works electronically. Brand new terminals and batteries but something is draining the batteries. The only thing I can think of is someting is directly to the batter that will bypass the kill switches.
I have a knife switch on both batteries.
If you have something similar, Then nothing is draining the battery. Both terminals need to be connected for this to happen.
If it is draining then you have a bad battery.
My trucks sits for 6 months during winter in the barn. Both stabs open, Freezing cold unheated barn. Every spring, Connect the stabs and she fires right up. One year it didn't. Had to replace the batteries.
I don't even put a battery tender on them, No power out there.
Thanks to Dad and the use of his barn, I have been doing this for 19 years. Ok maybe 18. I think i used my garage for storage the 1st year. To long ago to remember.
