2000 Explorer tranny maintenance advice?

2000 Explorer tranny maintenance advice?
Hello folks.
I just purchased an 2000 Explorer Sport and wonder if anyone would care to guide me on maintenance/quirks for the tranny.
This is a 5 speed od tranny with Auto/4 high/4 low selections (no 2 high).
I assume this is an all wheel drive type tranny, but cant seem to find any good reading, or any info on the partictular model.
All seems fine with the exception of OD coming in late (about 42-45 mph)
Any maintenance info/advice would be much appreciated.
Ive been a GM man but am coming over. I love this Explorer.
