Driving in reverse
I have a 2000 7.3 that randomly kicked hard while driving then put me down to about 30 mph max on the highway now I’m not able to get it into reverse, once it cooled down it drove normally, but now whenever I put it in reverse it drives forwards, wondering if this is a replace the transmission issue or if this is a easier fix, fluid looked good linkage was tight but that’s all I really know to check.
