Anyone have water get behind the front camera? I’ve noticed lately a little haze (top center) on the screen and attributed it to a glare. Upon looking closer at the lens, you can clearly see what appears to be water droplets
I'm only seeing what looks like water spots on the outside of the lens but if they are inside then it would seem as though the lens wasn't sealed properly. It shouldn't leak.
On different vehicles I have had cameras where they would fog up under certain conditions and cause water spots on the inside of the lense. Heck, even my Ring doorbell does from time to time. If it was particularly bad and under warranty I would get it swapped. The camera modules are not that expensive if you need to buy a replacement out of pocket either.
Yeah they SHOULDN'T get water inside them, but being that they are so small and constantly exposed to the elements it's not unheard of for the seal to either fail or have been faulty from the get-go.
Presuming you're still under warranty, I'd have them fix it (replace it).
