My cap used to lock with my truck fob 2017 f250 6.7, quit doing that. I am trying to trouble shoot.
My first guess was to check voltage at the lock while locking and unlocking the doors. So my question is do the door locks get a shot of 12 volts to operate?
Any other ideas would be most welcome. Thanks
voltage is sent to the actuator. it would be best to use a test light or an analog multimeter since it's a short duration and a digital multimeter will probably not register anything

This; or if you have access to the wire connection you can pull the wires for the actuator and hit it with a 9v battery. It should be enough to activate the actuator.
I was able to use a battery to test the actuator, it works. To lock it blue to pos, green to neg. To unlock blue to neg, green to pos.
It stumps me to figure how to test the wires coming from the truck. If anyone has a procedure for that please let me know It is 2 wires , a green and blue. Thanks
Got it fixed. Had 2 problems, a bad crimp under drivers door sill, and a fuse under the bed that needed to be cleaned up. Thanks for the help getting it figured out.

Eliminate the crimp, and solder and heat shrink it!
