There sure is restriction in the factory intake pipes
Thing is, it's designed into the system (the restriction)
You should try it and let us all know if it's worth the money
For the 460 and the 351W the twin throttle body is not the restriction, they flow plenty, so I can't see how this low-profile unit will improve anything. Seen one of their youtube videos where they just show a test drive after an install, no before/after dyno numbers, so another red flag.

Saw a video where a guy did before and after acceleration test using his cell phone as a stopwatch. It actually went slower after the “upgrade.”
I do have their intake and throttle body. I installed it at 77k miles and I'm at 133k now without any issues. I grossed 19k lbs from Alaska to Michigan and then to Tennessee with it. There is a noticeable difference in power & throttle response. I had 35s and I was getting 10.5mpg. I changed to 33s and after recalibration my speedo I was still getting 10.5mpg. I have factory size on it now and I get 11.5mpg at 70mph. The crazy thing is that I get 1mpg better towing my enclosed trailer empty or loaded than my 2022 Godzilla gets towing the same trailer.
And I still find it hard to believe that a smaller throttle body and drawing hot air from that open air filter gets better mpgs than the bigger OEM throttle body and cold air intake.
The factory setup was a slug. I removed the thermactor, EGR and air injection. Added an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and put a 180F thermostat in it.

Don't care. Let the OP spend the money on that garbage and then decide for himself.

Wish you wouldn't care but you keep showing up with the same old "I dOnT uNdErStAnD" so we have to keep pandering to your inability ro comprehend.
OP, the intake and throttle body made a noticeable difference. Don't let the guy who doesn't even own a 460 try to give you any info about something they don't have any knowledge or understanding of.

The factory plastic intake pipes are the restriction, not the factory throttle body
Right, but like I said, the restriction is engineered into the fuel tables
Simply opening up the intake pipes actually makes one run worse
Have no idea how that aftermarket system would perform
There are quite a few trucks running out there that have had the plastic intake tubes hogged out
I originally cut the horns inside my factory intake and didn't notice anything. Then I got an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and didn't notice any change but it did run smoother. I replaced my coil with an MSD coil that crapped out after 90 days just outside the warranty but I wouldn't want another Chinese MSD coil anyways. I'm still running my 30 year old factory coil. I also have my original TFI module on the truck. I bought the ported intake and throttle body along with a 180F thermostat and advanced the timing to 13degrees. I removed the emissions BS and from the first time I drove it you could tell a difference. Then I installed a set of Banks headers without air injection and the full 3" to 3-1/2" exhaust. It woke it up even more.
I also eliminated all of the clutter on top of the motor and replaced all of the vacuum lines with coast guard approved rubber fuel supply hose. I do have a tuner that is no longer available that tells the computer the EagR is there and functional so I don't get any check engine lights. It isn't like bolting on a supercharger but it did makee a difference in how it ran.
My fuel economy didn't drastically improve but it did improve. I've ran 87, 91, 93 and the fuel economy difference is negligible. I get the best economy with clear gas whether 87 or 93 both are available by my house. I also don't mind buying it even if it costs $10/ fill-up.
