Rear quarter window actuator

YC3Z-7830478-AA Passenger side

I’ve been looking everywhere! Does anyone know if there are any NOS available?

Have your dealer do a nationwide search, when I bought both of mine, they were still avail from Ford. I see they show NLA now.

I found a YC3Z-7830478-AA Passenger side
then I got to thinkin that if the passenger side just crapped out, the driver side is surely to follow so I looked everywhere and found one in Canada. it’s the Motorcraft part #WLR50, the equivalent to the Ford YC3Z-7830479-AA driver side.
Now let’s see if they both show up. lol

As luck would have it, my order for the drivers side with The Truck Lot - Ford Parts was cancelled due to no stock. My order for the passenger side is shipping today so I have my hopes that it actually ships.
I’m still looking for a source for the drivers side. There has to be one somewhere, so if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Here’s an idea, can the motors be serviced? That would solve the problem if someone could rebuild them.

I’ll have to try that with the passenger side when I replace it to see what I’m getting into.
Great idea, thanks!

If you can't fix yours or find a NOS one I have a few from part outs.

My daughter had a Rural Mail delivery route for a few years.

her skin is sensitive heat burn, and very cold temperatures, so the Passenger side of the car window was run down/up many times a day.

her route had 750 mailboxes, depending on locations, and Sun Direction related to the car, the up/dn movement was not always the same.

then the motor stopped. I removed the Regulator and applied voltage to the motor, no movement, even when reversed.

a new Regulator with motor was less than $30, easy fix.

best thing to do, to preclude this problem, is to open the door panels and apply some grease that won't run away, reduce the friction involved.

Hes not having issues with the door windows, but the power quarter vent windows. Different parts all together.

I saved this off Facebook a while back. Mine aren’t working at moment, on the list to buy and try myself

seems like the internals are the same. So I may try just swapping motors from new to old. Unless gears themselves are bad

I never saw any king of limit switch in my motors. In my pics above that yellowish rubber dog-bone is travel stop for that large gear. All the noise comes from the motor rotor it's self and I could not remove the rotor from the stator housing unless I pressed the worm gear off the shaft. I still have some Radio Shack TV tuner cleaner/lube I sprayed in the motor housing openings. This made the motor very quiet.
