cold air intake
i was wondering oh to do the cold air intake (home made), does it just concist of removing the top of the air box off?

What year is your truck? If it's 86-96 then you already have a cold air intake.

My 95 had the over the radiator tube, aka non-cold air. I don't know if Ford put it there or the original owner.

mines is a 94 and the air in take is in te grill and it dont pull in alot of air threw it

That intake that sucks air from behind the grill is the cold air intake. They use that same setup on the 460. The major air restriction in our 300's is the head, not the intake.
