Electrical Issue
1992 F150 5.0 E4od. Picked this truck up cheap just to have as the next project. Ive been doing some minor things here and there but I have ran into something strange. When I start it off the key it starts and idles fine but if I give it gas the truck just dies out like it is running out of fuel. If i turn the key to the run position and then remove the starter (trigger wire) at the solenoid and cross it to start it runs great with no issues until I put the trigger wire back on the solenoid. I havent done much with it yet but wanted to see if anyone had any ideas on where to start. The previous owner said it didnt start with this issue until he had the fuel pump replaced and has thrown a ton of new parts at it with no improvement.

Check three things to start with
Check the ignition switch for coming apart
Check the capacitors in the EEC-IV processor / ECU
I think it might be a coincidence you removing the start wire makes it change
Check the processor for codes just in case
