6.0 VGT issues
I have a 2003 F250 with a stock turbo strait pipe. I have a tune on it from PSP Diesel. After long driving on the hwy at 75mph and I get off quickly my truck VGT sould like it opens up fully and sounds like a dodge. It will stay this way and I will roll coal until high RPMS. If I shut off the engine and turn it back on the turbo goes back to normal. I have recently replaced the turbo and it didn't make any difference. Any ideas what it could be? Tune programming?

I would recommend getting FORScan or a decent live data reader. You can monitor what the VGT is being commanded. You also need to see what the MAP sensor and EBP are seeing. If you don’t have a reader, check the tubing to the MAP sensor to make sure it doesn’t have any holes and is tight. Check the EBP sensor tube to ensure it’s not caked up and blocked.
