HELP 93 - 7.3 IDI oil pan flooded with diesel fuel.

I have a 93 F350 quad cab 4 x 4 with a 7.3 L IDI. I've never had any problems with the motor other than hard starts sometimes in the winter.

I was in a serious accident and my other truck that was caused by a woman that was texting and driving. It was T-boned at about 50 miles an hour in the drivers door. I was unable to drive the 93 diesel for 2 to 3 years because of the accident. I first went to use it again this year and I was excited to be driving it again.

I went for a burger a few miles away and when I got to my destination people were telling me that my truck was leaking oil all over the parking lot. I actually flooded my oil pan with diesel fuel. I never had an issue like this before.

My Mechanic is too busy to work on the truck right now and take a look at it. Any suggestions on what would cause the truck to dump a large amount of diesel fuel into the oil pan? Enough fuel from here 2 to 3 mile trip to fill up the oil pan to the point it overflowed. The truck did sit unused for 2 to 3 years which is the first time it sat unused in the 20 to 25 years I've owned it. I'm a contractor and this was my daily driver for work. I desperately need it on the road again to haul my job trailer as I'm finally starting to do some small jobs again. And I need to make money after that working for the last 2 to 3 years...

Sounds like the diaphram in the lift pump has rotted allowing fuel to get into the engine.
Common problem.

New lift pump, an oil change, and fingers crossed the bearings didn't get too damaged by the diesel.
