I figured this would be the place to ask about this era of replacement wiper blades, mainly for my '78 Cougar. I was wondering if anyone knew of any companies or websites that supply the refills for older truck or car wipers because I just can't seem to find any.. I've seen multiple products made to replace the blade itself along with the rubber but the wipers on my Cougar are basically stamped together so I'd have to either replace the entire arm assembly or find replacement rubber inserts. Gonna need them to eventually pass inspection for registration where I live lol. Any help or insight is appreciated!

Got these from LMC for too much in shipping, but the new wiper arms are only painted silver, not stainless like the OG. I’m going to pull the springs and swap the old ones. If your wipers skitter and skid, it may be the tension spring.
Heres the Trico 33-150 blade I got off Amazon for cheap. Not bad, and application is for a newer jeep; it’s noted in the pinned thread at the top of 73-79 page.
I remember years ago going to the Carlisle Fairgrounds there was a guy who all he sold were the old stainless wipers and replacement blade refills. I took it for granted thinking they will always be around. Haven't seen him there in about 10 years. I bought a set for my 67 Fairlane believe it or not on rockauto a few years ago. Just the blade refill. And they actually fit.
