Refills can be had at the Rock parts place. Many parts stores can order some. When I went to the Rock and looked at the price of the refill for my '62 standard metal frame and a brand new complete, it was cheaper just to buy the complete wiper and toss the old metal frame. Shame, the frame was fine.

Agreed, I don't want to lose the stainless steel wiper arm or blade holder. I am not a fan of the black arm/blade look. But when the springs that hold the blade tight to the curve of the windshield get tired, the blades don't ride tight enough. RockAuto does offer the Trico 33130 blades 'with a silver finish to resemble the original equipment blades'. Periodically apply some 303 Aerospace Protectant to the rubber blades will provide them with a longer life........
BTW: I don't know if the frame was the original or not when I got my '62 40 years ago. I may still have the frames that came with it. But then again, who knew I would have had it this long.
What locks in the universal refills? The metal Anco and Trico frames use a clip.
Has anyone tried the United Pacific 110424 blades? I see them on the Summit Racing site. They are advertised as polished Stainless... I have a pair of Trico 33-130's on mine. Trico advertises them as chrome on their site but they seem to be stainless-ish, not polished, but definitely not painted either. The United Pacific are a 3 piece design compared to the Trico one piece arm. Is 3 piece more original?
