I've been buying 25' rolls of 3/16" SS line and making mine up as I need. A good tubing bender is a must alone with a double flaring tool. The coated Steel lines are easier to work with. The hardest to make are the ones on the axles. For flex lines I've been using Crown Performance.
I would only use SS for a show car / truck and use copper / nickel line as it is softer than the steel lines of old so easy to flare with the cheaper HF hand flaring tool and bend, will not kink easily like steel line.
You can get a coil of C/N line and fittings off Ebay or Amazon to do all the lines in your truck.
