Currently have 225/75R15 on my 2wd, single cab, long bed, 4sp, 390.
I want to go to 17” wheels, but I need to know what rim width and tire size. The current wheels are some universal garbage that doesn’t really sit well on the axles and are ugly.
Any tried and true suggestions are welcome. Thanks
I run 17" x 8" American Racing TTO (Torq-Thrust original) wheels and Firestone 235-60x17 FR710 tires. The tires are the same diameter as the stock H78x15 tires that came on the truck, so the speedometer is accurate. The wheels have a satin finish rim and gray texture-painted spokes. Can't get a much more "classic" look than this.
