Ect question

Hey everyone im going to replace the ect "sensor" not the sender on my 92 250 4.9l, Ive watched a few videos and they are all the same. -take the old one out, put the new one in- but there is always a guy in the comments say that its completely wrong and never says why lol. So my question is why might this be, and if Im good to go? Ps should you put thread tape on even if it has factory thread locker? Thanks yall.

I don’t see anything wrong with that video. Do you need to drain the coolant? No but then you will have coolant running out of the sensor port until you reinstall the sensor. Whatever sealant is on the new sensor is all you need. Do not add more. The funnel is nice to use to help burp the system but once again I have never bought one.
