Question about posting.

As I read and learn and have questions of my own I have one that I am not sure of. When I see a thread that discusses an issue similar to one I have should I post my issue/question on that thread or should I start another? I am not worried about posting on another thread but then I don't want to hijack someone else either.

Thanks,
Mark

It kind of depends. If you have just a general question you need some clarification on, jumping in is fine. If you need help diagnosing and it's likely to be a question and answer session that requires several steps or responses, then it's best to start your own thread.

If it's a process you need to run through, you want to know for sure when someone asks, did you check XYZ if they're referring to you, or the original poster in the thread.

If your question is just, where is the XYZ sensor, or what does it do, then no harm in jumping in on someone else's thread.
